Navarra celebrated its last ShareBiotech Technological Meeting on 21 March

This technology meeting drew 60 attendees, scientists, consultants, company representatives and PhD students at the University of Navarra.

The main objective of the meeting was to present to local biotech agents the results of the project showing them the benefits of a common TCF strategy and the new regional funding schemes. Biotech PhD students were also target audience to promote entrepreneurship in the biotech sector.

The event was really successful in giving the biotech sector from Navarra more strength and in promoting the Technological Core Facilities knowledge and entrepreneurship in the biotech sector, including new generations of biotech actors from Academia.

Navarra TCF networking

The Navarra Technological Core Facilitiy, ESTNA (Escuela Sanitaria Técnico profesional de Navarra), that attended the ShareBiotech Final Event in Nantes, took advantage of this event, to do a study visit at the Radiology Service of the CHR Pontchaillou hospital in Rennes, France. ESTNA, which equipment include an image unit, was particularly interested in the IRM.

ESTNA is involved in the ShareBiotech project as a TCF, and, as such, they presented the project to the Vocational Training community in the conference “Innovation projects in Vocational Training”. This conference was part of the Science Week events. The Science Week takes place in Spain during the month of November and gathers around 6000 people each year.

ESTNA is an National Reference Centre in Spain for training technicians in different health technologies.
